From January to October, the output of natural gas, chemical industry, metallurgy, automobile and other key industries above the scale of Ordos City achieved steady growth. Among them, the output of eight industrial products increased at a rate of more than 15%. From January to October, 304 non-public industrial enterprises above the city's scale realized an added value of 120.65 billion yuan, an increase of 11.1% over the same period of last year, which was 9.4 percentage points higher than that of state-owned enterprises, 3.1 percentage points higher than average level of industries above the city's scale, 0.7 percentage points higher than average level of non-public industries in the whole region, accounting for 74% of the regulated industries. Compared with the same period, it increased by 2.9 percentage points, contributed 98.7% to the growth of industries above scale, and promoted the growth of industries above scale by 7.9 percentage points.
From January to October, the production of new organic chemical industries such as coal-to-methanol and fertilizer in Ordos City maintained growth. The added value of coal chemical enterprises above the city's scale reached 4.78 billion yuan, an increase of 15.8% over the previous year, and the added value of industries above the scale increased by 0.4 percentage points. Among them, coal-to-methanol industry and coal-to-oil industry increased by 23.6% and 12.1% respectively. The output of refined methanol was 4.216 million tons, an increase of 16.8%, and the output of coal-to-oil products was 851,000 tons, an increase of 21.9%.
With the deepening of structural reform of industrial supply side, the proportion and growth rate of high energy-consuming industries in Ordos City have declined synchronously, and the industrial structure has been continuously optimized. From January to October, the city's six energy-intensive industries realized an added value of 23.76 billion yuan, down 0.1% year-on-year, and the growth rate was 8.1 percentage points lower than average level of industries above scale, accounting for 14.6% of the added value of industries above scale, down 1.2 percentage points year-on-year.
