On November 10, the 2016 International Conference on Fiber Reinforced Inorganic Composites (IIBCC) was successfully concluded in Fujian, China. At the closing ceremony, the Chairman of the IIBCC Committee and the Holmer Savastano Jr. Of the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil, announced that the 2018 International Conference on Fiber-Reinforced Inorganic Composites (IIBCC) would be held in South Africa.
The International Conference on Fiber Reinforced Inorganic Composites (IIBCC: International Inorganic-Bonded Fiber Composites Conference) was held by Al. Professor Moselemi was founded in 1988 at the University of Idaho in the United States and is held every two years. The conference is an international academic conference on many fiber reinforced inorganic composite products, such as fiber cement, fiber gypsum, fiber ceramic materials, etc. Previous conferences have attracted the participation of many well-known international enterprises and related service providers. Since its inception, the conference has successfully held 15 sessions in different countries around the world. IIBCC is the most important international conference in the fiber reinforced inorganic composite industry. The 15th IIBCC Conference visited China for the first time.
Fiber-reinforced inorganic composites were first used in ships, aircraft, automobiles and other fields. After years of development, they have gradually entered the field of civil construction. Because of their green environmental protection, mildew-proof and moisture-proof, A-level fire protection, light weight and high strength, easy construction, beautiful and generous features, they are increasingly widely used in large-scale municipal engineering, subway, tunnel and so on.
