西部水泥(02233)8月15日发布公告，今年上半年，该集团收益达16.29亿元人民币(单位下同)，同比减少3.7%；毛利约1.53亿元，同比减少29.2%；该公司拥有人应占亏损约1.14亿元，而去年同期该公司拥有人应占溢利240万元；每股基本亏损2.1分。

公告称，产生重大亏损主要由于集团优先票据未变现外汇亏损5570万元，及平均售价下降导致毛利下降。

期内，该集团水泥及熟料销售量为839万吨，较去年同期的795万吨微升5.5%。然而，这数字包含了去年11月收购的药王山水泥厂贡献的销售量约43万吨。若不计及该新厂房，根据同比基准，该集团上半年的销售量维持稳定。
