China Sinoma (01893-HK) announced that its Shanghai-listed subsidiary, Sinoma International. Recently, it has signed with Okpella Cement Plc and Dangote Cement Plc, the subsidiaries of Nigeria DangoteIn dustries Limited, respectively the General Contract of Okpella 6,000t /d Clinker Cement Production Line Project Contract and General Contract for Onne 1.5 Million Tons/Year Slag Grinding Station Project, with contract amounts of US $281 million and US $89 million respectively.
Okpella's 6,000-ton/day clinker cement production line project is located in Cominio, Edo State, Nigeria. The scope of the contract includes the whole process of a cement production line with a daily output of 6000 tons of clinker, from limestone mine crushing to cement packaging and delivery, covering engineering design, equipment procurement and supply, civil construction, mechanical and electrical equipment installation, commissioning, personnel training, etc. The cement will be produced within 27 months after the contract comes into effect, and the performance test will be completed within 30 months.
Onne slag grinding station project with an annual output of 1.5 million tons is located in Onne Port, Hackett Port, Nigeria. The scope of the contract starts from the unloading of slag and gypsum to the packaging and shipment of slag cement, covering engineering design, equipment procurement and supply, demolition of the original plant, civil construction, installation and commissioning of mechanical and electrical equipment, personnel training, etc. The contract stipulates that the slag cement will be produced within 18 months after the contract comes into effect, and the performance test will be completed within 20 months.
