Recently, Chengdu Design and Research Institute of Building Materials Industry Co., Ltd. and the Equipment Bureau of the Ministry of Defense of the Arab Republic of Egypt signed a general contract for Beni Suef's six clinker cement production lines with a daily output of 6000 tons . Vice General Manager Chen Tao, on behalf of the company, signed the contract with General Karam Salem M. Salama of the Engineering Bureau of the Egyptian Ministry of Defense. Vice General Manager Liu Xiaoning and Director Wang Wanhong of the Overseas Marketing Department attended the signing activities.
The project is located in Beni Suef, about 120 km southeast of Cairo, Egypt. The EPC scope covers a complete cement production line from raw material crushing to packaging and shipping of finished cement products. The production line is constructed in the form of EPC, including design, equipment manufacturing, civil construction, supply and installation, commissioning and training, as well as three-year operation and maintenance of the production line.
The Beni Suef project is an international bidding project. In the early stage, many well-known cement engineering builders at home and abroad participated in the bidding. After more than two years of unremitting efforts, the company finally signed the final contract after overcoming many difficulties. The project is currently the largest cement production line general contracting project in Africa, with a total contract value of 1.053 billion euros.
The Beni Suef project is another cooperation between the company and the Egyptian military after the GOE ARISH Phase II 2x5500t/d clinker cement production line project. The successful signing of the project not only consolidates the long-term cooperative relationship between the two sides, but also marks that our company has further strengthened its competitiveness in building large-scale cement production lines in Egypt and even in the African market. It is a milestone for our company to expand in the international market.
