Kyrgyz Prime Minister Meets with Sinoma Peng Jianxin and His Delegation

   On April 15, Prime Minister Solombai Genbekov of the Kyrgyz Government cordially received Peng Jianxin, President of Sinoma, and his delegation in Bishkek. He said that Kyrgyzstan is located in the hinterland of Central Asia and will face good development opportunities driven by China's "the Belt and Road" strategy. He looked forward to Chinese investors investing in Kyrgyzstan and welcomed representatives of Sinoma Group to visit and investigate. He said that the new government will strive to create a good investment environment and give strong support and assistance to Chinese enterprises represented by Sinoma Group within the scope permitted by law.

   Peng Jianxin said that Kyrgyzstan is an important strategic node area of the "the Belt and Road" and a friendly neighbor of China, and Sinoma Group attaches great importance to investment and development in Kyrgyzstan. As a large state-owned enterprise in China, Sinoma Group has certain strength in material manufacturing, engineering equipment, geological exploration and other fields, and is willing to explore cement and other investment projects in Kyrgyzstan. Qilianshan Group intends to invest in the construction of cement projects, Sinoma Group has been approved, the next step will be to carry out the establishment of companies, project feasibility study and other preliminary work. Sinoma Group has the strength and ability to build the project into a modern cement plant with low consumption, high standards and high environmental protection, and strive to contribute to the economic and social development of Kyrgyzstan.

   Liu Xubin, Chairman of Gansu Building Materials Industry Association, Tuo Licheng, Chairman of Qilianshan Group, Wang Xuezheng, Vice President of Qilianshan Group, and Bao Jing, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Eighth Metallurgical Construction Group Co., Ltd., went to Kyrgyzstan to investigate and research the cement market and project investment, and attended the meeting.
