海螺集团“走出去”的步伐要从2011年算起，那一年，海螺集团在印尼南加建立起第一个“根据地”。而后，在5年不到的时间里，海螺的脚步从印尼走到了缅甸，又走过老挝、柬埔寨等国。如今随着“一带一路”的推进，海螺已初步完成东南亚地区的战略布局，与俄罗斯的合作也在积极进行着。
