验收组一行对码头现场进行实地勘查，召开了省级验收会议，听取了业主单位情况介绍，审阅了有关资料，并就有关事项达成一致意见，认为该码头生产设施、内部管理、规章制度等对外开放条件已基本具备，符合对外开放的要求。
日前，江苏省人民政府下发了同意扬州海螺水泥有限责任公司码头对外开放的批复。扬州海螺水泥有限责任公司是安徽海螺集团在扬州市江都区投资建设的国内最大的水泥粉磨生产和出口基地，码头的对外开放增强了企业的国际竞争力，进一步优化了扬州沿江投资环境，为扬州乃至苏中地区外贸企业提供便捷服务又添新门户。
