On March 17, Red Lion Group and Hope Cement Group formally signed a joint venture agreement in Kathmandu. The two sides jointly invested in the construction of a 6000t/d cement production line with a total investment of 350 million US dollars, which will become the largest cement production line in Nepal after completion.

The cement market has great potential.

At present, the Nepal project is carrying out mine exploration and other work, and the main project is expected to start within this year. The project adopts world-class cement technology, technology and equipment to produce cement in a safe, environmentally friendly and low-carbon way, so as to improve the overall level of Nepal's cement industry. After the completion of the project, it will produce 2 million tons of cement annually, increase more than 2000 local jobs, and promote the development of local logistics and other related industries.
