The Mamba project in South Africa reflects and illustrates the comprehensive strength of the development of Eastern Hebei, which really pushes the overseas development strategy of Eastern Hebei to the international level and exports technology and equipment to distant Africa. Mamba Cement, which is about to be completed, has been highly recognized by the South African government for its advanced and environmentally friendly technology and the entrepreneurship of its employees. This project not only trains the team, but also accumulates rich experience in EPC project management. Over the past year, the Mamba Construction Team has overcome many seemingly impossible difficulties and become the most convincing "advertisement" for the development of Eastern Hebei. To be sure, the successful construction and operation of the project provides an excellent opportunity for the publicity of other overseas projects in Jidong, and will create huge space and development opportunities for Jidong to win overseas markets.
As of June 26, the first anniversary of the official commencement of construction of the Mamba Cement Project in South Africa. With the joint efforts of all the builders, all the work has progressed smoothly. The site has entered the dry season and winter construction in an all-round way. The climate is dry and the temperature difference between day and night is large. All the participants in the project construction have overcome many difficulties and made every effort to promote the progress of the project construction. According to the requirements of the contract, the completion date of the project is March 26, 2016. At present, the actual progress node is expected to be 7 months ahead of the EPC contract duration control node.
According to Zhang Xinghua of the project department, as of June 26, the civil construction has completed 85% of the total amount of the contract, and has entered the final stage in an all-round way. The mechanical and electrical installation quantities of the clinker line have been basically completed and the commissioning conditions have been fully met; 90% of the cement mill system installation has been completed; 30% of the waste heat power generation system mechanical installation has been completed; The electrical construction has completed 70% of the total quantities agreed in the contract, the cable has been laid for 220,000 meters, the clinker line has entered the single commissioning stage, the cement line has completed 70% of the installation of panels and cabinets and the laying of bridges, and the cable laying has begun; the steel structure construction has completed 95% of the total quantities agreed in the contract, and has entered the final stage; 90% of limestone pre-homogenizing storage yard grid has been assembled; the auxiliary material pre-homogenizing storage shed grid has been assembled, and the steel grid construction is expected to be completed within 50 days.
If the production power supply in the plant area can be formally electrified on August 1 as originally planned, the project is expected to start ignition production in mid-August, and the cement grinding and packaging workshop will be put into operation on September 10.
