Recently, the first overseas BOOT project of Sinoma Energy Conservation Co., Ltd. was completed in the Philippines SOLID Cement Plant of CEMEX Group. This is also the first foreign investment project in China's waste heat power generation industry, and an important milestone for Sinoma Energy Conservation Group to implement its "going out" strategy.
Philippines SOLID Waste Heat Power Generation Project is located in Antipolo City, Retza Province, Philippines. It is a set of waste heat power station with an installed capacity of 6MW, which is constructed by using the waste heat from the 3500 t/d cement clinker production line of Philippines SOLID Cement Company. The owner of the project is CEMEX Group of Mexico, which is also the first cooperation between Sinoma Energy Conservation and CEMEX Group.
The project was successfully connected to the grid on March 30, 2015. It is estimated that the annual power supply is about 34.68 million degrees, which can save about 13,900 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 34,600 tons. The successful grid-connected power generation of this project indicates that the BOOT/EMC investment business of Sinoma Energy Conservation has been successfully implemented not only in China, but also overseas.
The owner held a grand completion ceremony at the site. Ms. Nini Ynares, Governor of Leisha Province of the Philippines, and Zhang Qi, Chairman of Sinoma Energy Conservation, jointly unveiled the Philippine Waste Heat Power Station.
