Russia's cement production in February increased by 1.3% year-on-year.

   In February 2015, Russia produced 3.5 million tons of cement, up 1.3% from a year earlier. During the same period, Russia's domestic market consumption was 3.6 million tons, an increase of 0.5% over the same period last year; cement exports were 100,000 tons, a decrease of 7.3% over the same period last year; Imports of 172 thousand tons, a decrease of 16.7% over the same period. In February, the average production price of Russian cement (excluding value-added tax and freight) was 2769 rubles/ton, up 0.5% from the previous month; the sales price (including value-added tax and freight) was 3783 rubles/ton, down 4.7% from the previous month.
