On October 25, China Building Material Engineering and Giti Group signed a general contract for Indonesia's 6000-ton clinker cement production line project in Singapore, laying a solid foundation for China Building Material Engineering to further expand the high-end cement engineering technology service market in Southeast Asia. Peng Shou, Chairman and President of China Building Material Engineering, and Ms. Lin Wu Aiqing, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Giti Group, attended the signing ceremony. At the ceremony, the two sides held cordial and friendly talks and conducted extensive discussions on topics of common concern such as the layout of Indonesia's cement market and solar power generation.
Headquartered in Singapore, Giti Group is a large diversified multinational group company with more than 80 enterprises in China, Singapore, Indonesia and other countries, covering tire manufacturing, minerals, finance, real estate, hotels, department stores and other fields. The signed project is located in Semarang City, Central Java Province, Java Island, Indonesia, which is the most densely populated area in Indonesia with the largest demand for cement. The signed production line is a 6,000t/d clinker cement production line with Ф5.2 × 74m rotary kiln, preheater and calciner. At present, the geological exploration work has been completed, the design work has been started, and the construction is planned to start formally within this year. After the completion of the project, the annual output of Portland cement will be 2.1 million tons.
