On October 17, Tianjin Cement Industry Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. and Malaysian HUME CEMENT SDN. BHD. Signed the HUME Phase II general contract in Kuala Lumpur. The second phase of the project is a clinker cement production line with a daily output of 5000 tons . The whole plant is equipped with Chinese equipment, and all the main machines are equipped by Sinoma Equipment Group. The contract scope of the project is the same as that of Phase I, which is a complete EPC general contracting project including design, equipment supply, installation, civil construction and technical services. The contract period is 20 months for cement production and 23 months for clinker production.
HUME Cement's first clinker cement production line project with a daily output of 5,000 tons was constructed by Tianjin Institute in the form of general contracting, which was timed in September 2010 and ignited in July 2012. The quality and construction period of the first phase of the project are highly praised by the owner, and the second phase of the project is located near GOPENG town in the suburbs of Ipoh, Malaysia.
Ke Tianqiu, President of Hume Cement, Xu Peitao, Chairman of Tianjin Institute, and Liu Tao, Director of Malaysia Company, signed the contract on behalf of all parties. Guo Lingshan, president of Fenglong Industry, attended the signing ceremony.
After the signing ceremony, the two sides reviewed the pleasant cooperation experience since the signing of the first-line project, and jointly discussed measures to ensure the quality and speed up the progress of the second-line project. Guo Lingshan said that the first time Hong Leong Group set foot in the cement industry, it chose Tianjin Institute. Facts have proved that this choice is correct. Hume Phase I project is far superior to other cement projects built in Malaysia in terms of construction period, quality and price, and the project effect exceeds the expectations of Hong Leong Group. Xu Peitao said that Tianjin Institute will repay the trust of the owners with better quality and shorter construction period.
