At 16:18 on August 18, the 3200t/ d clinker production line of Huaxin Cambodia Company was successfully ignited amid the festive sound of firecrackers, and the trial production was officially started.
Since the commencement of construction, the project has received strong support from Cambodian governments at all levels, company leaders and Northwest Hubei Cement Business Department. Li Yeqing, president of the company, and Bu Jianguo, Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia, have visited the scene for many times to offer condolences and guidance. The project department worked together to overcome the problems of fewer personnel, high temperature weather and raw material transportation, and successively completed the project site leveling, civil engineering, equipment installation and commissioning, and finally achieved successful ignition.
The successful operation of the project will provide about 1.2 million tons of high-quality cement for Cambodia's national construction every year, directly solve the employment of more than 200 local people, promote the development of energy, transportation, services and other related industries, indirectly provide nearly 1000 jobs, and effectively promote local economic and social development. At the same time, it will expand the popularity and influence of Huaxin brand and deepen the friendship between China and Cambodia.
