中国水泥网记者了解到，7月27日，由苏州中材建设有限公司承建的云南大理弥渡华润二期5000t/d生产线点火，预计八月初开始正式生产水泥。弥渡华润作为目前入驻弥渡最大的建材企业，一期年产100万吨水泥生产线已于2011年7月建成投产，2012年实现产值3.26亿元，上缴税金2659万元，提供就业岗位365个。

据相关人士透露，近日，怀宁上峰水泥公司发生检修事故，事故已经造成3人死亡。另悉，怀宁县安全生产部门已对该水泥公司实施全面停产。
