On May 28, the 2026RCEP Local Government and Friendship City Cooperation (Huangshan) Forum opened, and Conch Group signed a memorandum of economic exchange and cooperation with the Department of Industry and Trade of Khammouane Province of Laos, reaching the intention of comprehensive development and cooperation of mineral resources in Khammouane Province.
Laos is rich in mineral resources, and the two sides will conduct in-depth cooperation in mineral exploration, mining, processing and supporting facilities construction. Conch relies on industrial and technological advantages to help the green and sustainable development of local resources.
At present, Conch has cultivated many RCEP member countries, and has landed cement and lime related projects in Laos. The signing of the contract is a new breakthrough in its overseas layout, and will also help the development of economic and trade cooperation between China and Laos.
