On May 28, the 2026 RCEP Local Government and Friendship City Cooperation (Huangshan) Forum, co-sponsored by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the People's Government of Anhui Province, was solemnly opened in Huangshan City, Anhui Province. At the opening ceremony of the forum, Conch and the Department of Industry and Trade of Khammouane Province of Laos formally signed a memorandum of understanding on economic exchanges and cooperation, and reached a cooperation intention in the field of comprehensive development of mineral resources in Khammouane Province, marking a new step in the strategic layout of Conch's internationalization.

The signing of the memorandum of cooperation at the opening ceremony of the forum fully reflects the great importance attached by both sides to the cooperation, and also demonstrates the responsibility of Conch as a leading enterprise in Anhui Province to actively integrate into the overall situation of RCEP regional economic cooperation.
Laos is rich in mineral resources and has great potential for development. Khammouane Province, as an important distribution area of mineral resources in Laos, has favorable conditions for the development of mining economy. According to the memorandum signed, the two sides will give full play to their respective advantages and carry out in-depth cooperation in the exploration, exploitation, processing of mineral resources and the construction and operation of related supporting facilities. Conch will rely on the industrial strength accumulated in mineral resources development, cement building materials and other fields, as well as the core competitiveness in capital, technology and management, and combine with the good business environment and resource endowment of Khammouane Province to jointly promote the efficient, green and sustainable development of local mineral resources.
In recent years, Conch Group has actively "gone out" to meet the challenges and opportunities of the global market with a more open attitude, deeply integrated into the process of regional integration of RCEP, invested in Indonesia, Myanmar, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia and other RCEP member countries, with an investment scale of more than 15 billion yuan, set up 24 enterprises and set up a number of enterprises. In Laos, Conch has completed the Luang Pra bang Conch Cement Project, which has won wide recognition for its stable quality and efficient service. In February this year, the second entity project of Conch in Laos, the main project of Vientiane Conch Lime Project with an annual output of 300,000 tons, was officially started. During the construction of the project, local employment was actively promoted, skills training was carried out, and local materials were purchased preferentially, so as to integrate into local development with practical actions. This cooperation intention with Khammouane Province in the field of mineral resources is another deep cultivation and expansion of Conch in the Lao market and an important step towards the comprehensive development of mineral resources.
