Haibo Sichuang successfully signed the MyBeST 440MWh energy storage project in Malaysia, marking the acceleration of its international layout and the recognition of energy storage technology by large-scale overseas projects.

Recently, Industry-leading energy storage system solutions and services provider Haibo Sichuang and ASEAN Renewable Energy EPCC (Design, Procurement, ERS Energy ( "ERS"), a construction and commissioning company, and Gamuda, a Malaysian infrastructure and energy company, signed an agreement to jointly promote the MyBeST Pekan energy storage system project in Malaysia. The grid-side independent energy storage power station project is located in Pekan, Pahang, Malaysia, with a project scale of 100MW/440MWh .

This project is one of the first landing projects under the Malaysia Battery Energy Storage Programme (MyBeST). MyBeST, initiated by the Malaysian Energy Commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga, ST), aims to accelerate the deployment of utility-grade battery energy storage and help implement the national energy transformation roadmap.

As one of the important utility-grade independent energy storage projects in Malaysia, the MyBeST Pekan project aims to effectively enhance the flexibility and stability of the grid in the context of the rapid growth of new energy integration. Upon completion, the project will provide key power grid services such as peak shaving and valley filling , frequency modulation and system balance for the local power grid, further enhance the stable operation of the power grid and help Malaysia achieve its long-term energy transformation goals.

This project is also an important progress for Haibo Sichuang to deepen the market layout in Southeast Asia. This project cooperation reflects the ability of Haibo Sichuang to meet the technical and environmental requirements of Malaysia's utility-grade energy storage project, including the long-term stable operation of the energy storage system in tropical high temperature, high humidity and high salt fog environment.

Malaysia is widely regarded as one of the important energy markets in Southeast Asia and has a certain regional influence in renewable energy development and power grid modernization policies. The completion of the MyBeST Pekan project is expected to provide an important reference for the construction of follow-up energy storage projects in Southeast Asia.

The cooperation with local leading enterprises has further strengthened the localization strategic layout of Haibo Sichuang in the Southeast Asian market. ERS has rich experience in the development of renewable energy projects, while Jinwuda has regional advantages in large-scale infrastructure construction and project implementation. The three parties will jointly promote the high-quality landing of the project.

By integrating the advanced energy storage technology and system integration capabilities of Haibo Sichuang, the professional experience of ERS in the field of renewable energy, and the advantages of Jinwu University in infrastructure, the tripartite cooperation will establish a replicable and localized cooperation model for future regional development.

In the future, Haibo Sichuang will continue to promote energy storage technology innovation and high-quality project delivery, help Southeast Asia to enhance grid flexibility and renewable energy absorption capacity, and promote regional energy transformation and low-carbon development.
