[Basic information of the project] The project is located in Zunyi City, Guizhou Province. Passing through Chishui City, Xishui County and Renhuai City, the route starts at the Sichuan-Guizhou provincial boundary of the existing Chengdu-Zunyi Expressway and ends at Canglong Junction of Renhuai City, with a total length of 128.339 km and a bridge-tunnel ratio of about 70%. The combination scheme of in-situ reconstruction and expansion and new double-track construction is adopted, which is implemented in three sections: ① the in-situ reconstruction and expansion of the section from the starting point to Wanglong is two-way six-lane (100 km/H); ② the new construction of the section from Wanglong to Huoshigang is two-way four-lane (100 km/H); ③ the in-situ reconstruction and expansion of the section from Huoshigang to the terminal is two-way six-lane (80 km/H). There are 12 interchanges (5 hub interchanges), 3 service areas, 2 parking areas, 7 toll stations, and 1standard connection line of second-class highway (3.5 km). The concessionaire model (bot variant) is adopted, and the successful bidder establishes a project company to be responsible for investment, financing, construction, operation, maintenance and transfer. The existing Chishui-Renhuai section of Rongzun Expressway was opened to traffic in November 2013, and the toll period is November 2043.
