On May 26, the website of the People's Government of Guichi District, Chizhou City, Anhui Province, published the "Review Opinions on the Energy-saving Report of the 4 Million Tons/Year Sandstone Mining Project for Cement Ingredients in Laoshan Integrated Mining Area, Guichi District, Chizhou City, Anhui Province, Chi Zhou Conch Cement Co., Ltd." The energy saving report of the project is agreed in principle. The total investment of the
project is 459.3 million yuan. The main construction scale and contents include:
this project is the supporting sandstone mine mining project of Anhui Chizhou Conch Cement Co., Ltd., and the construction scope covers the open pit, mining area roads, etc. The mining area environment improvement, resource development and utilization, mining area ecological restoration and improvement, engineering equipment procurement and digital mine construction projects have been implemented. The production line has been put into operation for many years. This is a reconstruction and expansion project. The current mining scale is 2.2 million tons per year. After the implementation of the project, the mining scale will reach 4 million tons per year.
The project is a mine with integrated capacity expansion of multiple mining rights. The mine is planned to adopt hillside open-pit mining method, blasting mining technology, road development and automobile transportation, and top-down horizontal bench mining. The mined ore and rock are transported to the crushing system by shovel loading equipment and transportation equipment for crushing (the crushing system is not within the scope of this project). The annual production scale of 4 million tons of sandstone ore for cement batching (the half-baked clay in the ore body is synchronously mined and used for cement production) will be formed in the year of reaching the production capacity.
