Concentrating on Transformation, Concentrating on Peers and Promoting Development--The Second General Meeting of the Third Session of Yunnan Cement Association Was Successfully Held

in early summer and concentrate on a new chapter. In order to further consolidate the consensus of the industry, standardize the operation of the association, and promote the green, low-carbon and high-quality development of the industry, the third and second general meeting of Yunnan Cement Association was successfully held on May 22, 2026. Leaders of major leading cement enterprises in Yunnan Province, members of the Association Council, the Board of Supervisors and representatives of all members attended the meeting.

The meeting was carried out in strict accordance with the rules and regulations of the association, and deliberated and adopted the work report of the board of directors, the board of supervisors and the annual financial revenue and expenditure report. The meeting comprehensively summarized the operation of the industry and the effectiveness of the association's work in 2025, thoroughly analyzed the prominent problems of overcapacity, market involution and weak demand in the current industry, clarified the key work directions of industry self-discipline, market stability, peak staggering production and green low-carbon transformation in 2026, and advocated that the whole industry abandon low-price competition and jointly maintain a good market order.

The General Assembly voted to further improve the standardized operation mechanism of the association through the revision of its articles of association and the adjustment of its membership fee collection standards. The successful convening of the

conference further unified the industry's thinking, condensed the consensus on development, and clarified the direction of annual work. In the next step, Yunnan Cement Association will base itself on its functions and missions, continue to build a platform for communication between government and enterprises, deepen industry self-discipline, help enterprises to solve difficulties, promote green, low-carbon and intelligent upgrading of the industry, unite and lead all member units to work together and develop in groups, and make every effort to promote the sustainable, healthy and high-quality development of the cement industry in Yunnan Province.
