China Cement Network Project Link shows that the Tuanfeng-Qichun section of Wuhan-Huangmei Expressway has been established, with a total investment of 16 billion yuan, which is expected to drive the demand for 648000 tons of cement, 2.16 million cubic meters of concrete and 4.86 million tons of sand and gravel. The Tuanfeng-Qichun section
of Wuhan-Huangmei Expressway starts from the west of Luohuozhou, Tuanfeng County, Huanggang City, and connects with the Wuhan section. It crosses Luohuozhou eastward through Tuanfeng County, takes the north and south of Huangzhou, and ends at the west of Qichun County to connect with the Luotai Expressway. Conditions are reserved to extend eastward to the boundary of Hubei and Anhui provinces to connect with the proposed Susong branch line of Anqing-Jiujiang Expressway in Anhui Province. The total length of the route is about 72 kilometers, which is planned to be constructed according to the standard of two-way six-lane expressway with a design speed of 120 kilometers per hour and a roadbed width of 34.0 meters, with a total investment of about 16 billion yuan.
