Qingdao Metro Line 7 Phase II Mechanical and Electrical Installation Project recently announced that the "China Construction Department" six-enterprise consortium led by China Construction Installation Group won the bid with an overwhelming advantage of 96.28 points (far exceeding the second 89.34 points), with a quotation of about 609 million yuan and a construction period of 549 calendar days. The total length of the project is about 16.9 kilometers, covering the core electromechanical systems such as ventilation and air conditioning, water supply and drainage, fire protection, power and lighting, which can be called the "heart and nervous system" of the subway. So far, China Construction Department has achieved the success of the whole chain from shield tunneling to track laying to mechanical and electrical installation, laying the foundation for the opening of the whole line in 2027.

[Basic information of the project] The project is located in Chengyang District and Jimo District of Qingdao City, and is the general contractor of mechanical and electrical installation of the whole line of Line 7 Phase II Project. It covers the electromechanical construction of ventilation and air conditioning system, water supply and drainage and fire fighting system, power lighting system (including section), five-way communication cable of elevator and intelligent operation and maintenance system cable of escalator with a total length of about 16.9 km, as well as the civil engineering, decoration and installation of equipment room. The second phase of Line 7 is divided into north and south sections: the south section (Cangkou Airport-Xingguo Road Station) is about 3.8 km/3 stations, and the north section (Dongguozhuang Station-Yingpu Road Station) is about 13.1 km/11stations, all of which are underground lines. The total investment of the project is 17.816 billion yuan. At present, 80% of the civil works have been completed, the main body of 12 stations has been completely capped, and the proportion of interval connection is 75.97%. It is planned to open to traffic in 2027.
