Digital New Energy DataBM. Com was informed that on January 27, 2026, Hebei Xingtai Eco-environmental Bureau issued a public announcement on the acceptance of Shahe 500 MW photovoltaic power generation project (re-approval).
It is worth noting that the project needs to re-submit the EIA report because of the major changes in the site selection adjustment of some photovoltaic array areas. Previously, it was also involved in the problem of construction without approval. On September 11, 2025, it was placed on file for investigation by the Ecological Environment Bureau of Xingtai City, and issued a decision ordering (within a time limit) to correct the illegal act (Xing Huan Zhi No Punishment Decision [2025] No.31). On November 28, 2025, it issued a decision not to punish.
The announcement shows that the project, with a total investment of 3.09 billion yuan and a construction capacity of 500 MW , is located in Chaiguan Township, Liushigang Town, Qicun Town, Shiliting Town and Baita Town, Shahe City, Xingtai City, Hebei Province. It is invested and constructed by Shahe Zhongneng Green Power New Energy Co., Ltd.
The EIA report discloses that the photovoltaic area of the project is planned to install 540 Wp/545 Wp/585 Wp/590 Wp/595 Wp double-sided double-glass monocrystalline silicon N/P modules .
The project is divided into two phases of construction , the first phase of construction of substation area, complex building and pump house, and the supporting construction of a 220KV booster station and 220KV transmission line. 50 MW/100M Wh energy storage facility and PV field with a capacity of 30 MW. A photovoltaic field with a capacity of 470 MW will be constructed in the second phase. The total duration of the
