Guizhou plans to adjust the time-of-use electricity price: from March 1, the two-part industrial and commercial users on the wholesale side will no longer implement the peak-valley time-of-use electri

On January 22, the Guizhou Development and Reform Commission issued the Notice on Supplementing and Perfecting Peak and Valley Time-of-Use Electricity Price .

The Notice clearly States that from February 1, 2026, the price of electricity on the grid (transaction price or agent purchase price) and the cost of line loss on the grid will participate in the floating, while the price of transmission and distribution (including the price of transmission and distribution and the price of capacity/demand), the cost of system operation, government funds and additional fees will not participate in the floating.

Since March 1, 2026, the peak-valley time-of-use tariff will no longer be implemented for two-part industrial and commercial users directly involved in wholesale market transactions. For the two-part industrial and commercial users participating in the retail side market transactions, the peak-valley time-of-use tariff will no longer be implemented for the retail penetration part of the electricity consumption.
