On September 11, the National Cement Price Index (CEMPI) closed at 93.72 points, up 1.90% annually and down 8.50% year-on-year. On September 11, the Yangtze River Basin Cement Price Index (YRCEMPI) closed at 82.84 points, down 0.85% from the previous month. In mid-
September, the national cement market entered the window of the traditional "Golden Nine" peak season, and the cost of raw materials such as coal continued to rise, forming a strong momentum to push up, and leading enterprises in many places started a new round of price increases. However, the recovery of downstream demand is not as strong as expected, and due to the constraints of typhoon and rainfall weather in some regions and the slow arrival of funds, this round of price increases shows the characteristics of "shouting up actively and landing differentiation". East China: the price of cement in Shandong has been pushed up in an all-round way, and only Jiangsu in the Yangtze River Delta has partially realized the price increase; North China: the price of cement in Shanxi has been pushed up in the peak season, and the price in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei is still under pressure; the price of cement in Northeast China has been pushed up by 120-150 yuan/ton in three rounds, and the effect of implementation remains to be observed; Central and South China: the price of cement has shown a differentiation pattern of partial push up and overall pressure; Southwest China: The cost is rising, and the cement in many provinces in the southwest is pushing up; Northwest China: Many places in Gansu have notified the price increase.
On September 11, the national clinker price index (CLKPI) closed at 95.77 points, down 0.71% from the previous month.
