On May 21, according to the official micro-news of Sunshine Power Supply , following the landing of the world's largest energy storage project of 7.8G Wh in Saudi Arabia. Recently, Sunshine Power has won a 7.5G Wh super order from the United Arab Emirates, joining hands with Masdar, an international renewable energy company. Supply of 7.5G Wh PowerTitan 3.0 liquid-cooled energy storage system and 2.6G W inverter for its RTC 1Plant (North) project.
It is reported that after the completion of the project, the annual carbon reduction will be about 5.7 million tons, which will accelerate the realization of the UAE 2050 energy strategy and create two global benchmarks: the world's first GW all-weather renewable energy project and the world's largest 684 Ah laminated cell application project.
The project is expected to be connected to the grid in 2027. The PowerTitan 3.0 system is pre-installed and pre-commissioned. After arriving at the station, it can be self-configured and self-checked by one key. Relying on the lean manufacturing and localized delivery service capabilities of Sunshine Power Supply, it ensures the timeliness of delivery.
Previously, on July 18, 2024, Sunshine Power signed the world's largest 7.8G Wh energy storage project with Saudi Arabia's AlGihaz, and achieved full capacity grid connection in December of that year. The project takes only 58 days from order production to delivery, and 40 days to complete on-site commissioning. The project is expected to discharge 2.2 billion degrees of electricity annually. It has created many of the world's fastest grid-connected speed, the world's largest grid-connected energy storage project and the world's largest grid-connected technology application project.
