On January 22, China Railway Construction Corporation Limited issued the resolution announcement of the sixth meeting of the sixth board of directors.
The announcement disclosed that the sixth meeting of the sixth board of directors of China Railway Construction Corporation Limited was held in China Railway Construction Building on January 21, 2026, and considered and approved the Proposal to Appoint Sun Liqiang as Vice President of the Company and Chen Zhiming as Vice President of the Company.
It was agreed to appoint Mr. Sun Liqiang as the vice president of the Company, with the term of office commencing from the date of approval by the board of directors, which is the same as that of the current senior management of the Company (please refer to the appendix for the biographical details). Mr. Sun Liqiang is not prohibited from acting as a senior management member of the Company under the Company Law, nor is he prohibited from being nominated as a senior management member of a listed company under the Rules Governing the Listing of Stocks on the Shanghai Stock Exchange and the Guidelines for the Self-regulation of Listed Companies of the Shanghai Stock Exchange No.1 – Standardized Operation. Their qualifications meet the requirements of senior managers of listed companies and are competent for the duties of their posts. As at the date of this announcement, Mr. Sun Liqiang does not hold any shares of the Company.
On January 8, the official website of SASAC announced that Sun Liqiang had been appointed to the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of China Railway Construction Group Co., Ltd.
Earlier, China Communications Construction Co., Ltd. issued a notice on the departure of senior managers of the company. The announcement disclosed that the board of directors of the company received a written resignation report from Mr. Sun Liqiang, vice president of the company, on January 21, 2026. Due to job transfer, Mr. Sun Liqiang applied to resign as vice president of the company. After his resignation, Mr. Sun Liqiang will no longer hold any position in the Company.
It is agreed that Mr. Chen Zhiming will no longer serve as the vice president of the Company due to job adjustment.
Consideration and approval of the Proposal to Add Chen Zhiming as an Executive Director of the Company. The nomination of Mr. Chen Zhiming as an executive director of the Company was approved, with his term of office commencing from the date of approval by the shareholders' meeting and being the same as that of the sixth session of the board of directors of the Company (please refer to the appendix for his biographical details). Mr. Chen Zhiming is not prohibited from acting as a director of the Company under the Company Law, nor is he prohibited from being nominated as a director of a listed company under the Rules Governing the Listing of Stocks on the Shanghai Stock Exchange and the Guidelines for the Self-regulation of Listed Companies of the Shanghai Stock Exchange No.1 – Standardized Operation. He is qualified to act as a director of a listed company. Be competent for the requirements of the post. As at the date of this announcement, Mr. Chen Zhiming does not hold any shares of the Company. Chen Zhiming, aged 55, a Chinese national with no right of abode overseas, is currently the deputy secretary of the party committee and the chairman of the labour union of the Company, as well as the deputy secretary of the party committee and the chairman of the labour union of China Railway Construction Group Co., Ltd. He served as Deputy General Manager, General Manager, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Director, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of China Railway 11th Bureau Group Co., Ltd. In July 2024, he was appointed as a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of China Railway Construction Corporation Limited and a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of China Railway Construction Corporation Limited. In January 2026, he was appointed as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Labor Union of China Railway Construction Corporation Limited, and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Labor Union of China Railway Construction Corporation Limited. Mr. Chen graduated from the Central Party School with a bachelor's degree in economic management and is a senior engineer. Mr.
Sun Liqiang, aged 56, Chinese nationality with no right of abode overseas, is a member of the standing committee of the party committee and the vice president of the Company. He is also a member of the standing committee of the party committee of China Railway Construction Group Corporation. He was the deputy general manager of China Road and Bridge Corporation; Deputy Commander and Executive Commander of Mombasa-Nairobi Railway Project Command of China Communications Construction Co., Ltd., Executive General Manager of Overseas Business Department, Executive General Manager of International Engineering Branch, General Manager of Road, Bridge and Rail Transit Business Department, General Manager of Project Management Department, General Manager of Production and Operation Management Department, General Manager of International Direct Business Division, Secretary of Party Committee and General Manager of International Engineering Branch; Assistant to General Manager and General Manager of International Direct Business Division, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee and General Manager of International Engineering Branch of China Communications Construction Company Limited. In September 2023, he was appointed Vice President and Safety Director of China Communications Construction Company Limited. In January 2026, he was appointed as a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of China Railway Construction Corporation Limited and a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of China Railway Construction Corporation Limited. Mr.
Sun graduated from Xi'an Highway Institute with a bachelor's degree in engineering majoring in bridge engineering, and later obtained a master's degree in engineering majoring in project management engineering from the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is a senior engineer.
