China Cement Network Visited Sichuan Xingchuancheng Cement Co., Ltd.

Recently, Jiang Xun, General Manager of China Cement Network, and his delegation visited Xingchuancheng Cement and were warmly welcomed by Wang Hui, General Manager of Sichuan Xingchuancheng Cement Co., Ltd. The two sides exchanged views on hot issues of common concern in the industry. During the

exchange, Wang Hui said that the decline in cement market demand in Sichuan at the beginning of this year was not too serious, but after June, the demand declined sharply. At present, it is difficult to promote infrastructure projects in the province, and the demand for cement in engineering projects has declined significantly.

Wang Hui also pointed out that the current Sichuan cement market is facing two major challenges: one is that the opinions on production according to the approved capacity are not uniform; the other is that the number of days of off-peak kiln shutdown is inconsistent, and some enterprises do not have enough days of off-peak kiln shutdown. At the same time, the time of peak staggering and kiln shutdown in some surrounding provinces is seriously less than that in Sichuan, which also leads to a serious impact on the market balance in the province.

Finally, the two sides indicated that they would continue to strengthen communication and cooperation in the future, pay close attention to industry dynamics and market changes, and gather consensus and contribute wisdom to the high-quality development of the cement industry.
