It was confirmed that one cement clinker production line of Huaibei Xiangshan Cement Co., Ltd. and one cement clinker production line of Chaohu Conch Cement Co., Ltd. had been dismantled and withdrawn as required, and they did not have the conditions to resume production. It marks that the replacement of production capacity and the elimination of backward production capacity in the cement industry in the province continue to be effective.

The announcement clearly States that according to the requirements of the Implementation Measures for Capacity Replacement in Cement Glass Industry (2024 edition), the 2000t/d cement clinker production line of Xiangshan Cement in Huaibei has been dismantled as a whole after on-site verification by provincial and municipal authorities and industry experts; The rotary kiln barrel of Chaohu Conch 2 # 4500t/d cement clinker production line has been broken down, the key equipment such as power generation boiler, raw material conveyor belt and power high-voltage cabinet have been dismantled, and the two production lines have completely lost their production capacity.

The demolition and withdrawal is a concrete measure to implement the cement industry capacity replacement policy and promote the optimization of industrial structure in Anhui Province. The Measures for the Implementation of Capacity Replacement in the Cement and Glass Industry (2024 edition) explicitly prohibits new cement clinker production capacity, and new and reconstruction projects must implement equivalent or reduced replacement. At the same time, the requirements for low-efficiency capacity replacement are tightened to promote the improvement of energy efficiency and environmental protection in the industry.
