On January 14, Trina Solar signed a cooperation agreement with Haala Energy, a Saudi Arabian photovoltaic developer and installer.

According to the agreement, Haala Energy will build two agricultural and photovoltaic complementary projects for the farm of Bateel, a well-known date palm brand in Saudi Arabia, with a total installed capacity of about 1.8 MWp. The project will adopt Trina Solar high-efficiency components , intelligent tracking system and automatic cleaning equipment.
The project is expected to be connected to the grid in the first quarter of 2026.
It is noteworthy that on January 13, Trina Solar also announced that the company signed a battery energy storage system (BESS) supply contract with two regional energy companies, T-Power (Toesca Asset Management's energy platform) and YPF Luz, with a total capacity of 1.203 GWh.
It is understood that the cooperation covers two major projects of 722 MWh in Chile and 481 MWh in Argentina.
