Shandong 570 MW PV Project Announcement!

On August 31, the People's Government of Changyi City, Shandong Province issued the environmental impact assessment document of the 570 MW photovoltaic power generation project (re-approval) of China Nuclear Changyi to be approved.

Previously, on July 23, the Changyi Municipal People's Government issued a public announcement on the acceptance of the EIA of the project. According to the environmental impact assessment documents, the project is located in Xiaying Town, Changyi City, with a total investment of 2,969 million yuan, a construction period of 12 months and a planned total capacity of 570 MW. Due to the change of the project plot, the environmental impact assessment is re-submitted for approval. At present, the project has not yet started construction.

The project originally covers an area of about 14000 mu, and obtained the approval of the project EIA report issued by Changyi Branch of Weifang Ecological Environment Bureau on November 26, 2024. After the examination and approval of the environmental impact assessment, due to the failure of the planned requisition of part of the land required by the project plan, the Changyi Municipal Government agreed to adjust the land, and the adjusted part of the land coincides with the original environmental impact assessment land (the current use is aquaculture pits), part of it does not coincide (the current use is salt fields), and at the same time, because part of the land is now built with greenhouses, it does not have installation conditions. After the final land adjustment, the total land area was reduced to 11025 mu, a decrease of 2975 mu (21.3%).

Therefore, according to the adjusted land occupation, the project construction unit has adjusted the number of monocrystalline silicon photovoltaic modules (number of blocks) and the capacity of a single block, the number of inverters (number of units) and the power of a single unit. The total design capacity remains unchanged at 570 MW on the AC side (684 MWp on the DC side).

The project plans to install 1728 330 kW inverters with a total capacity of 570.24 MW on the AC side; It is proposed to install 29094 blocks of 540 Wp monocrystalline silicon duplex modules , 313 60 blocks of 595 Wp monocrystalline silicon duplex modules and 889928 blocks of 7300 Wp monocrystalline silicon duplex modules with a total DC side capacity of 684.0174 MWp. The construction unit of the

project is Changyi Huike New Energy Co., Ltd. The controlling shareholder of the company is China Nuclear Huineng (Shandong) Energy Co., Ltd., which is a subsidiary of China Nuclear Group.
