30, Guangzhou Development announced that it planned to invest about 850 million yuan to build a 200 MW fishing-photovoltaic complementary power plant project.
Guangzhou Development said in the announcement that in order to promote the high-quality development of the company's new energy industry and build the company's first new energy base in Fujian Province. Guangzhou Development New Energy Group Co., Ltd. (Hereinafter referred to as "New Energy Group"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, intends to invest in the construction of 200 MW fishing-photovoltaic complementary power station project in Nanjing Mountain City, Guangzhou.
It is understood that the project is located in Fengtian Town, Nanjing County, Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province, with a planned installed capacity of 200MW/258.42MW , and is constructed in the mode of "complementary fishing and light". A 20MW/40MWh energy storage system will be built and a new 220kV booster station will be built. The total investment of the project is about 853 million yuan .
At present, the project has obtained the project record certificate on July 10, 2025, and obtained the approval of grid access on August 27, 2025, and will be implemented by Nanjing Suifa New Energy Development Co., Ltd. , a subsidiary of the New Energy Group.
According to the operating data previously released by Guangzhou Development, in the first half of 2026, the company achieved 1.555 billion kilowatt-hours of photovoltaic power generation , an increase of 26.86% over the same period last year. Photovoltaic electricity sales amounted to 1.536 billion kWh, up 26.30% year on year. Compared with the decline of wind power due to power limitation, photovoltaic is the main growth force of Guangzhou's new energy sector in the first half of the year.
