On August 31, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Anhui Province announced that in August 2026, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Anhui Province organized experts from Wuhu Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, Huainan Bureau of Industry and Information Technology and the Provincial Cement Association to conduct on-site verification of the demolition of six cement clinker production lines used by five enterprises, including Anhui Digang Conch Cement Co., Ltd. and Huainan Shunyue Cement Co., Ltd. After verification, six cement clinker production lines have been dismantled or broken down.
