On January 9, the site of the second phase clinker production project of Huanggang Yadong Cement in Tianjia Town Street of Wuxue City was full of enthusiasm.
As a key supporting project for the high-quality development of Wuxue's economy, the project, with a total investment of 3.25 billion yuan, was officially started in December 2025. Under the whole-process follow-up service of the Wuxue Municipal Committee and the Municipal Government, the construction procedures of the project were completed ahead of schedule, laying a solid foundation for the smooth progress. The project strictly implements the national capacity replacement policy. Two clinker production lines with a daily output of 4,200 tons in Yangluo, Wuhan and Yadong, Hubei, and one clinker production line with a daily output of 2,500 tons in Jiangxia, Wuhan and Yaxin, Wuhan will be reduced and integrated according to the ratio of 1.5: 1. A new modern clinker production line with a daily output of 7,266 tons will be built, with an annual production capacity of 2.7 million tons after putting into operation. Since its establishment in 2006, Huanggang Yadong Cement Co., Ltd. has built a clinker production line with an annual output of 2 million tons of cement. The construction of the second phase of the project is not only the internal demand for upgrading and expanding the development space of the enterprise, but also a practical measure to actively integrate into the integrated development of port, industry and city in Wuhan metropolitan area and to help improve the quality and efficiency of the local economy.
The project adds 315 mu of land, with a construction area of 300000 square meters, and is expected to enter the trial production stage in July 2026. After the project is completed and put into operation, the annual output value will be 1 billion yuan, the tax revenue will be 200 million yuan, and 80 jobs will be provided, which will strongly promote the transformation and upgrading of Wuxue building materials industry and inject strong momentum into the economic and social development of our city. At present, all employees of Huanggang Yadong Cement Co., Ltd. are working overtime to ensure that the project achieves the target of trial production on schedule.
It is understood that on February 20, 2025, the Hubei Development and Reform Commission issued a list of provincial key projects in 2025, including the second cement clinker production line construction project (7266t/d) of Wuxue Manufacturing Plant of Huanggang Yadong Cement Co., Ltd.
