On January 9, the 2026 Working Conference of China Building Materials Group and the Fifth Session of the Second Workers'Congress were held in Beijing. Relevant leaders of the Eighth Bureau of Enterprise Audit of the National Audit Office and the Capital Bureau of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council attended the meeting.
The meeting conveyed and studied the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on the work of central enterprises, emphasizing that learning, publicizing and carrying out the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions should be taken as a major political task, keeping in mind the entrustment to shoulder the mission bravely, constantly strengthening the core functions and enhancing the core competitiveness, and contributing more to the modernization of China with high-quality development. The report points out that in 2025, the Group will deeply practice the working method of "addition, subtraction, multiplication and division", pay close attention to reform and innovation, three fine management, cooperation, open sharing, integration and optimization, and Party building to lead the "six efficie ncies", promote the implementation of annual tasks with creative execution, and make every effort to promote the "14th Five-Year Plan" high-quality closure. Firstly, we should improve quality and efficiency, anchor the goal of "one profit and five rates", constantly optimize the main business structure, perform well in the main product market, and create more distinct value orientation. Second, we should persist in expanding the increment by addition, speed up the development of new industries, promote the transformation of basic building materials, and speed up the international operation in an all-round way. Thirdly, we insist on optimizing stock by subtraction, tapping potential and increasing efficiency by fine management, promoting slimming and fitness by fine organization, and significantly improving operational efficiency and efficiency.
