On January 9, the 2026 Working Conference of China Building Materials Group and the Fifth Session of the Second Workers'Congress were held in Beijing. Relevant leaders of the Eighth Bureau of Enterprise Audit of the National Audit Office and the Capital Bureau of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council attended the meeting.
The meeting conveyed and studied the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on the work of central enterprises, emphasizing that learning, publicizing and carrying out the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions should be taken as a major political task, keeping in mind the entrustment to shoulder the mission bravely, constantly strengthening the core functions and enhancing the core competitiveness, and contributing more to the modernization of China with high-quality development. Strategic foundation, accelerating transformation, opening up the operation logic of state-owned capital investment companies with the guiding principle of "4335", creating a number of influential and driving investment and merger projects, accelerating the landing of the new main business of "non-metallic material manufacturing and related capital investment", overseas reengineering and new blueprint of digitalization, and high-end, intelligent, green and international "Four Modernizations" transformation has yielded fruitful results. Innovation and reform, forge ahead, regard scientific and technological innovation as the "number one project", deeply integrate into the national innovation system, undertake a number of key national R & D plans, break through a number of key core technologies, make full efforts in management, business model, system and mechanism innovation, continue to carry out the three-year action of state-owned enterprise reform, deepen and upgrade the reform, and escort the development of new quality productivity with new production relations. The speech made an in-depth analysis of the situation and tasks faced by the "Fifteenth Five-Year Plan", and proposed that in the historical process of accelerating the evolution of the changing situation in the past century, the domestic economy to be new and better, and the industry to be speeded up, new coordinates should be anchored, new thinking should be applied, the "Fifteenth Five-Year Plan" should be worked out scientifically, the "four integrations" should be strengthened, and the "second curve" of growth should be built with all efforts. Promote the Group to enter a new round of high-quality growth during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period. First, we should strengthen the integration of innovation and investment and reshape the growth momentum.
