Cement Industry Air Pollutant Emission Standard "No.1 Amendment" will be implemented on May 1! Compulsory New National Standard "Safety Technical Code for Working in Confined Space" GB 46768-2025! Effective May 1!

1. Cement Industry Air Pollutant Emission Standard Amendment No.1 will be implemented

on May 1. The amendment was drafted by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment. The Chinese Academy of Environmental Sciences, the Environmental Engineering Assessment Center of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the China Cement Association, the Institute of Technical Information of Building Materials Industry, the Environmental Planning Institute of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and other units participated in the drafting, and the amendment No.1 of the national standard Emission Standard of Air Pollutants for Cement Industry (GB 4915-2013) will be formally implemented on May 1, 2026.

2. Compulsory new national standard GB 46768 for Safety Technical Code for Operation in Confined Space-2025! Effective May 1!

It is applicable to confined space operations in the whole industry except in the fields of dangerous chemicals, chemical medicine and ships. It takes "ventilation first, then detection, and then operation" as the core red line, and makes unified rigid requirements for the whole process management of operation, personnel responsibilities, protection and rescue, and prohibition of blind rescue. It is the core technical basis for preventing poisoning and asphyxia accidents in confined space.

3. The new mandatory national standard GB3608-2025 Classification of Work at Heights was officially released on October 5, 2025 and implemented on May 1, 2026! It

replaces the original recommended GB/T 3608-2008, is applicable to the work at height with the risk of falling 2 meters or more from the falling datum plane in the whole industry, and is classified according to the rules of "height section + A/B double track (without/with objective risk factors to upgrade control)". It is the legal core basis for risk assessment, ticket approval, safety control and supervision and law enforcement of high-altitude operations.

4. The national recommended standard (GB/T) GB/T 176-2025 Chemical Analysis of Cement was

issued on October 31, 2025 and implemented on May 1, 2026, replacing GB/T176-2017. Stipulate the benchmark method/substitution method for the detection of various components of cement, clinker and raw meal, add the detection requirements for indicators such as alkalinity, and unify the rules for the determination of detection disputes.

5. The national recommended standard GB/T 3183-2025 Masonry Cement was

issued on October 31, 2025 and implemented on May 1, 2026, replacing GB/T 3183-2017. Durability indicators such as chloride ion and gas content should be tightened, and the scope of application and requirements for factory inspection and identification should be optimized.
