The Ministry of Green Economy and Environment of Zambia and the representatives of the building materials industry of many countries went to Sinoma Zambia Company for investigation

Recently, the Ministry of Green Economy and Environment of Zambia, together with the Environmental Protection Agency of Zambia, formed a joint delegation with representatives of the building materials industry of Zimbabwe, Burkina Faso, Kenya and Spain to investigate Sinoma Cement Zambia Company. After the

delegation visited the production and operation site of the Zambian company, the Zambian company introduced in detail the experience of implementing the local Green Economy and Climate Change Act and Carbon Market Regulations and realizing the green development of enterprises. The two sides also discussed how to improve energy efficiency, strengthen the control of raw materials and fuels, develop renewable energy and carbon market construction, and said they would cooperate in environmental management capacity, technical personnel training and green projects.

In the future, Zambian companies will actively explore innovative practices of green manufacturing, continuously improve the modernization level of environmental governance, and contribute more to the development of green economy in Zambia.
