Environmental impact assessment of a 5000 t/d clinker line co-processing solid waste project of Nanfang Cement is proposed to be approved

On January 6, the Liuyang Branch of the Bureau of Ecology and Environment of Changsha City, Hunan Province, issued a public announcement on the environmental impact assessment document of the project of co-disposal of contaminated soil and general industrial solid waste in cement kilns of Hunan Xinzhicheng Environmental Protection Co., Ltd. before approval. The publicity period is from January 6, 2026 to January 12, 2026 (5 working days).

The announcement shows that the project is located in Yongxin Village, Yongan Town, Liuyang City, Changsha City, Hunan Province (in the factory area of Hunan Liuyang Southern Cement Co., Ltd.), and Hunan Xinzhicheng Environmental Protection Co., Ltd. plans to invest 7 million yuan . Based on the existing 5000t/d new dry process cement clinker production line of Hunan Liuyang Southern Cement Co., Ltd., the polluted soil and general solid waste of Changsha Zinc Plant and Yongan Zinc Plant were treated. The treatment scale is 100,000 tons/year . The project is to construct temporary storage and belts in the open space of the existing factory area of Hunan Liuyang Southern Cement Co., Ltd.
