Recently, China Resources Building Materials Technology Co., Ltd. publicly transferred the mining right of the second flux limestone mine in Nali Station of Pingguang Forest Farm, and the transfer base price was set at 100 million yuan. Located in Shangsi County, Fangchenggang City, Guangxi, the mining right is located in the core area of the local high-quality limestone ore belt, with significant resource endowment and industrial supporting advantages.

According to public information, the transferred mining right holds a legal and valid mining license, which is valid from October 31, 2022 to October 31, 2042, totaling 20 years. The project evaluation report shows that the calculation period of this mining right evaluation is 21.49 years, and the evaluation period starts from February 2025 and ends in July 2046, which exceeds the original approved validity period of the mining license by about 4 years.

As a key industrial raw material, limestone for flux plays an irreplaceable role in ferrous metallurgy, non-ferrous metal smelting and other fields. Its core function is to convert gangue and harmful impurities in ore into slag, so as to improve the quality of steel and other products. It requires specific chemical composition, mechanical strength and flux effectiveness. Shangsi County, where the transferred mine is located, is rich in limestone resources in Guangxi, with billions of tons of limestone reserves, 54.97% of calcium oxide content, the quality of which is in the forefront of the region, and the distribution of ore belts is concentrated, which is convenient for large-scale mining. Relying on abundant mineral resources, the local government is building a calcium carbonate industrial cluster, which can form industrial linkage with Fangchenggang Iron and Steel Base and Eco-Aluminum Project, providing a broad market space for the development of mining resources.
