Recently, Trina Solar Energy (Yiwu) Technology Co., Ltd. has successfully passed the titanium and certification "zero carbon" factory audit, and successfully obtained the five-star certification certificate of zero carbon factory (type I). This is the third consecutive year that Trina Solar has won this authoritative green certification award, from becoming the first "zero carbon" factory certified by authoritative agencies in the photovoltaic industry in early 2023 to being promoted to four-star certification of zero carbon factory (type I). This time, Trina Solar has continuously improved the greenhouse gas management of the factory, and the certification level of the "zero carbon" factory has been continuously upgraded to fulfill its commitment to sustainable development with practical actions.
Since becoming the first "zero carbon" factory certified by an authoritative agency in the photovoltaic industry in early 2023 and winning the four-star certification of zero carbon factory (type I) in 2024, Trina Solar has continued to promote the implementation of zero carbon factory in accordance with the "zero carbon factory evaluation standard". The carbon emissions (tCO2e) of Yiwu Base have been reduced by 27.21% through a series of efforts to tap the space of energy conservation and carbon reduction, improve energy efficiency, and continuously optimize and upgrade energy management, equipment and facilities transformation.
In December 2025, according to the "Zero Carbon Factory Evaluation Standard", the authorized evaluation organization of Zero Carbon Factory-Titanium and Certification carried out a detailed evaluation and audit of Yiwu Base from six indicators, including infrastructure, energy and carbon intelligent information management system, energy and resource use, products, greenhouse gas emission reduction measures and carbon offset implementation. By virtue of its outstanding performance in the practice of zero-carbon plant, Yiwu Base has once again been highly recognized by the certifier, and has completed 100% offset of direct greenhouse gas emissions and indirect greenhouse gas emissions from input energy after independent emission reduction, meeting the requirements of five-star grade of zero-carbon plant (type I), and has successfully passed the review of zero-carbon plant.
