12 public officials were held
accountable for the "9 · 1" major lifting injury accident of the Zhenlizhu Project in Chenghua District, Chengdu City. A major lifting injury accident occurred in Zhenlizhu Project, No.16 Huaishudian Road, Wannianchang Street, Chenghua District, Chengdu City, resulting in five deaths and a direct economic loss of 13.6316 million yuan. After the
accident, the provincial Party Committee and the provincial government attached great importance to it, dispatched a working group to guide the accident rescue work on the spot, and set up an accident investigation team led by the provincial government to investigate the accident. In accordance with the administrative authority of cadres, the relevant discipline inspection and supervision organs have seriously pursued the accountability of 12 public officials in accordance with the rules and regulations, and the public security organs have investigated four persons suspected of committing crimes. Pu Liang, Deputy Manager and Safety Director of Zhenli Project Department of the Third Company of the 22nd Bureau of
China Railway, Xianke, Safety Supervision Engineer of Zhenli Project of Jingzheng Company, He Yan, Legal Representative and General Manager of Xinhongda Company, Tower Crane Demolition Unit, and Cheng Chaoxing, Tower Crane Demolition Worker, are suspected of major liability accidents. The case was investigated by the public security organs and criminal compulsory measures were taken. Twelve public officials
from Chenghua District Committee, Chenghua District Government, Chenghua District Housing Construction and Transportation Bureau, Chenghua District Construction Project Affairs Center, Chenghua District Wannianchang Street Party and Labor Committee and Office, Chengdu Housing and Urban-Rural Construction Bureau and Chengdu Construction Safety Supervision Station were dealt with seriously.
Among them, Peng yuan, the person in charge of the Safety Service Department of the Chenghua District Construction Project Affairs Center, was given a major administrative demerit and adjusted his post according to the procedure;
Liao Yong, the member of the Party Group of the Chenghua District Housing Construction and Transportation Bureau and the director of the District Construction Project Affairs Center, was given a warning within the Party and adjusted his post according to the procedure; Wang Minghao, the person in charge of the safety production supervision section
of Chenghua District Housing Construction and Transportation Bureau, was given administrative demerit punishment and adjusted his position according to the procedure;
He Lei, the director of the Quality and Safety Department of Chengdu Housing and Urban-Rural Construction Bureau, and Li Jun, the party secretary and director of Chenghua District Housing Construction and Transportation Bureau, were given administrative warning punishment;
The other seven responsible persons were ordered to inspect, criticize and educate respectively.
To instruct the Chenghua District Committee, the District Government, the Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Construction Bureau to make a written inspection to the Chengdu Municipal Committee and the Municipal Government, and the Chenghua District Wannianchang Street Party and Labor Committee, the Office and the District Housing Construction and Transportation Bureau to make a written inspection to the Chenghua District Committee and the District Government.
