The main body of investment gives up! Ningxia-150MW/600MWh Shared Energy Storage Project Abolished!

On January 4, the Development and Reform Bureau of Dawukou District, Shijingshan, Shizuishan, Ningxia, issued a notice to abolish the 150MW/600MWh shared energy storage project of Shizuishan Yuchu New Energy Co., Ltd. The reason for clearing up and abolishing is that the main body of investment abandons construction .

The announcement shows that the 150MW/600MWh shared energy storage project of Shizuishan Yuchu New Energy Co., Ltd. is now abolished because it can not meet the technical requirements of grid-connected access and the implementation conditions of the project are not yet available.

It is reported that Shizuishan Yuchu New Energy Co., Ltd., the construction unit of the project, filed in September 2025, originally planned to invest 720 million yuan to build a 150MW/600MWh shared energy storage project in Xinghai Town, Dawukou District, Shijingshan, Zuishan City, Ningxia.

of Dawukou District Development and Reform Bureau on Abolishing the 150MW/600MWh Shared Energy Storage Project of Shizuishan Yuchu New Energy Co., Ltd. To promote the conservation and intensive use of resources, in accordance with the spirit of the Notice of the Development and Reform Commission of the Autonomous Region on Promoting the Healthy Development of Energy Storage (Ningfa Reform Energy (Development) [2024] 816), new energy storage projects have been sorted out and filed. The 150MW/600MWh shared energy storage project of Shizuishan Yuchu New Energy Co., Ltd. cannot meet the technical requirements for grid-connected access of the project, and the project implementation conditions are not available for the time being, so it is now abolished.
