China Cement Network Project Link shows that the related projects of the new Yichang-Changde Railway (Hubei Section) are being tendered recently. The railway is expected to boost the demand for cement by 306,400 tons, concrete by 756,300 cubic meters and sand by 2,758,500 tons.
This project is the Hubei section of the newly-built Yichang-Changde Railway. The line is led out from Yichang North Station of Wuyi Section of Shanghai-Chongqing-Chengdu high-speed rail. The main line is 86.247 km long, the right line bypass section is 5.917 km long, 74 bridges are 49.071 km long, and 17 tunnels are 20.298 km long. Bridges and tunnels accounted for 80.22%, and supporting projects of Yidu Station, Songzi Station and Changyang East Station were newly established. The scope of this tender is environmental monitoring, supervision and environmental and water conservation acceptance technical services, which are divided into two bid sections, and the planned construction period is from the signing of the contract to the completion of acceptance and verification.
