This project diverts water from the left bank of the reservoir area of Shuimangtangxi Water Control Project. The design flow of the canal head is 27.2m3/s, and the average annual diversion volume of the canal head is 191 million m3. The backbone canal system includes one new main canal, five branch canals, 18 branch canals and two existing canals. The total length of the new canal system is 223.74 km, and the total length of the reconstructed canal is 9.30 km. In the new canal system, the total length of the main canal is 51.40 km, and the total length of the sub-main canal is 85.01 km.

This project diverts water from the left bank of the reservoir area of Shuimangtangxi Water Control Project. The design flow of the canal head is 27.2m3/s, and the average annual diversion volume of the canal head is 191 million m3. The backbone canal system includes one new main canal, five branch canals, 18 branch canals and two existing canals. The total length of the new canal system is 223.74 km, and the total length of the reconstructed canal is 9.30 km. In the new canal system, the total length of the main canal is 51.40 km, the total length of the sub-main canal is 85.01 km, and the total length of the branch canal is 87.33 km; 4 new pumping stations are built, with the design flow of 0.25 m3/s ~ 2.8 m3/s and the installed power of 180 ~ 1300 kW; 33 new maintenance roads are built, with the total length of 10.03 km; Four temporary adit tunnels during the construction period are used as permanent maintenance adit tunnels, with a total length of 3.55km. The irrigation area is planned to renovate 5 main and branch drainage ditches, with a total length of 19.44 km. The field engineering of large irrigation area in Huaihua City, Hunan Province includes connection engineering and field engineering. The connection works include the connection of the backbone canal system (from the new water diversion point to the field canal system), the reconstruction of the existing canal system, the new branch drainage ditch and the new irrigation area canal system; the field works comprehensively manage the cultivated land, including agricultural canals, drainage ditches, building works, field roads and other facilities. This project adopts the integrated implementation mode of "equity investment + EPCO". The content of this tender is equity investment + EPCO for the backbone project and the first batch of field projects of the large-scale irrigation area project in Huaihua City, Hunan Province.
