Recently, the Yunnan Provincial Market Regulatory Bureau issued a circular on the spot check of the quality supervision of five kinds of products, such as cement, in 2025.
The spot check covered 16 prefectures (cities) in the province, and 132 batches of cement samples were taken from 119 production enterprises, involving general Portland cement, masonry cement and phosphate slag Portland cement. The test items include sulfur trioxide, magnesium oxide, loss on ignition, insoluble matter, chloride ion, setting time, stability, strength, water retention, fineness, water-soluble chromium (VI) and radioactivity. The results showed that there were two batches of unqualified products, and the unqualified items were all chloride ions exceeding the standard.
