On April 8, Zhoukou Port Central Operating Area completed the unloading operation of 2000 tons of high-quality cement, marking the formal landing of the first single cement trade integration business promoted by the cooperation between the Port and Shipping Group and the Supply Chain Company of the Capital Company.

The batch of cement was produced in Anhui Province and transported to Zhoukou Port with the help of waterway shipping advantages. During the unloading operation, the 2000-ton cement ship berthed accurately and completed the loading and unloading operation efficiently, and the whole process operation was safe, standardized and orderly.
According to the business plan, the follow-up monthly cement supply of the project will reach 50000 tons, covering the market of Zhoukou and surrounding areas in Henan Province. The landing of this
business has effectively promoted the linkage of building materials resources, market exchange and benefit sharing between Henan and Anhui, marking an important breakthrough in Zhoukou Port in giving full play to the advantages of water transport from the Yangtze River to the sea, upgrading the service level of the hub and guaranteeing the supply of building materials in the service area.
