On August 4, the construction of Youting No.5 Solar Power Plant in Vietnam, which was participated by China Electric Power Construction , was officially started. The installed capacity of the
project is 450 MW , with a total investment of about 7.774 trillion Vietnamese Dong (about 20 billion yuan). It is invested and constructed by CTCP N Năng l LNG DT5.1, a subsidiary of Xu Xuân C Cu Holdings, a large private energy group in Vietnam.

The picture shows the commencement ceremony
of the project. It is understood that the project is located in the semi-submerged beach area around the Yangmingzhou Sheyouting Reservoir in Tay Ninh Province, southern Vietnam, with a total area of about 645 hectares. It is planned to build a complete solar power generation system . It includes photovoltaic modules , distributed inverters , step-up substations, transmission lines and grid-connected supporting facilities.
According to the plan, the power station is expected to be put into commercial operation in December 2027. After the completion of the project, it is expected to provide more than 808 million kilowatt-hours (808 million kilowatt-hours) of clean electricity to Vietnam's national power system every year.
It is noteworthy that since 2018, the owner of the project has invested in the construction of Youting No.1, No.2 and No.3 photovoltaic power stations , with a total installed capacity of 500MW . Now, with the launch of Youting No.5 project, the total installed capacity of new energy planning in Youting Lake area will reach 950 MW .
